Getting Started

Load KiCad POS File

Click "Load POS" and select your KiCad placement export file (.pos or .csv). This will populate the Components and Material Stacks tables.

Load Stack File (Optional)

If you have saved feeder configurations, click "Load Stack" to merge them with your current data.

Configure Material Stacks

Go to Material Stacks tab. Set feeder IDs, pocket offsets, visual parameters, and PHead (nozzle) assignments.

Review Components

Check the Components tab. Mark any components as DNP (Do Not Place) if needed. Verify coordinates and angles.

Set Global Offsets

If your board origin differs from the machine origin, set X/Y offsets in the toolbar.

Export DPV

Click "Export DPV" to download a ZIP containing your DPV file and Stack backup. The file will be validated before export.

File Formats

POS/CSV: KiCad placement export (Ref, Val, Package, PosX, PosY, Rot)
STACK: Saved Material Stack configuration with all feeder parameters
DPV: Charmhigh CHMT-48VB pick-and-place format

Key Columns

STNo.: Links components to material stacks by Station ID
PHead: Nozzle number (1 or 2)
Skip: Flags: 0=place, 1=skip, 4=vision assist
Status: Station flags: 1=skip, 2=vacuum, 4=vision, 8=pause on empty
DNP: Do Not Place - excludes from DPV export

Editing

Click any cell to edit (except STNo. which is derived from Station)
Use checkbox column to select multiple rows
Changes auto-save to the server session

Validation

DPV is validated before export per machine specification
Errors must be fixed before export is allowed
Check Console for validation messages

Export DPV

Output filename (without extension):

A ZIP file will be created containing:
• {filename}.dpv - DPV file for the machine
• {filename}.stack - Material stack backup
• {filename}.log - Session log
